CHILDREN

JoyKids is the children's ministry at First Baptist Church, designed to teach your little ones the good news of Jesus in a safe and fun environment.

KIDS CHURCH

Kids Church meets weekly during the morning worship service from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM for children ages birth through 10 years old.

We offer three age-separated rooms, each with Bible lessons tailored to the children's developmental stage. These lessons align with the sermon preached that week in the sanctuary, allowing families to discuss what they learned together at home. Parents receive a matching sticker for each child, and SMS text messages are sent for any needed communication.

All of our children's ministry leaders and volunteers undergo background checks to ensure the safety of your children.

For families who prefer to keep their little ones with them during worship service, a family corner is available in the back of the sanctuary, featuring round tables with coloring books and activities to keep your kids engaged during the service.

0-2 YEARS OLD

Our 0-2 year old room is designed to keep your baby or toddler safe and comfortable. Soft toys are available for play, along with a selection of age-appropriate Bible books that our children's ministry leaders can read to your child. A separate Nursing and Diaper Changing room is also available for nursing mothers who need a comfortable space to care for their baby.

3-5 YEARS OLD

Our 3-5 year old room features a large play area with fun toys and activities, allowing your little ones to play and interact with each other at the start of Kids Church. They are then gathered for a fun and engaging worship time, followed by a Bible lesson tailored to their age. The lesson aligns with the sermon taught in the main sanctuary that week, encouraging families to discuss what they've learned together at home.

6-10 YEARS OLD

Our 6-10 year old room features a spacious play area with fun tabletop games and activities, allowing your older kids to play and interact with each other at the start of Kids Church. They are then gathered for an engaging worship time, followed by a Bible lesson tailored to their age. The lesson aligns with the sermon taught in the main sanctuary that week, encouraging families to discuss what they've learned together at home.

KIDS SUNDAY SCHOOL

Our Kids Sunday School meets on Sundays after the morning worship service, from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM. We use the GO! Curriculum, providing a fun and age-appropriate journey through the Bible throughout the year. Filled with worship, interactive lessons, and engaging activities, your kids will continue to deepen their understanding of God and the Scriptures in a fun, supportive environment.

We offer two Kids Sunday School rooms: one for our 3-5 year olds and another for our 6-10 year olds. The 0-2 year old room is also available during Sunday School, with a caring volunteer to play with your child and read Bible stories while your family attends Sunday School.
